Finally, the spring is here too! It seems like the snowhas started to melt away after a long, cold winter, one of the coldest we've ever experienced! We have had low temperatures up until now but not too much snow yet, between -20 and -30 degrees C, or 68-86 F degrees F...but our dogs seemed to enjoy it!
Swedish version is taking a loong time, it has to wait, I'm afraid.
We are planning puppies! Read more under "Breeding goals" .
And this turned up outside our door one December morning....huge wolf paw- prints compared to Freddy's glove, they were bigger than my hands!
November: Skippa found a group of ducks in the forest. They had been caught in the snowstorm. All had frozen to death, except one. The duck was adopted by Bandido who let her sleep in his crate, on top of him! He took on the role to parent and protect her against our Malamute Luna who thought the duck would be better as a good snack!
October/November: Classes as usual and the muddiest fall we have seen in a few years, the rain just won't stop!
September: Rumba has arrived.

August: Desi was empty to our disappointment.
July: Trials in Skärblacka, at Fätorpets kennel. Colt recieved his OTDc title and a 1st leg on ATDc. We failed our last run. Learnt this, never go to trial unprepared, it is a waste of time and money. He has only one leg left, the ATD cattle to his WTCH, frustrating to say the least!
We
had a break and almost entry at our property!!! I was alone, but thanks to our Aussies there was no chance they could have entered with them two in the house! I could hear them as they talked, trying to enter in the hallway...the dogs chased them off to their car!
This is really a part we both appreciate with the working Australian Shepherd, they just know when it's a real dangerous situation and the rest of the time, they do not only work as an alarm when someone comes to the property, they protect you too. They just have a very balanced way to use their guardinginstincts.
June: Bandido was bred to Desi at Diamond Bluff Kennel.
